Mr. Gorlovsky-Schepp has been with Raphael and Raphael since 2007 and became a partner in 2016. His practice focuses on closely-held businesses, including venture-backed start-ups. He also handles complex foreign tax issues, and works extensively on the firm’s high net worth individuals. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he graduated with high honors.

Prior to coming to Raphael and Raphael, Mr. Gorlovsky-Schepp worked at Liberty Mutual, leading internal audits of the company’s commercial market operations and participating in the initial Sarbanes-Oxley compliance retesting. In addition to being a C.P.A., he is a Certified Internal Auditor.

Mr. Gorlovsky-Schepp lives in Boston’s South End with his wife and young son. He currently serves as an Overseer at the Museum of Science, and was on the Board of Directors of Community Boating – the largest and oldest public sailing program in the United States – for eight years, including three as Treasurer.
